Giada Pietrabissa, Ph.D.

Dr. Giada Pietrabissa, PhD, PsyD is adjunct professor at the Catholic University of Milan and research psychologist in the Clinical Psychology Lab and Service at the Institute for Treatment and Research (IRCCS) Istituto Auxologico Italiano, Milan, where provides individual and group-based interventions to individuals suffering from eating disorders, obesity and other chronic conditions, including cardiac problems. She is author of several articles published in academic and professional peer-review journals, and book chapters. She also serves on the editorial board of numerous academic journals. She has expert knowledge and experience in using a variety of therapeutic approaches including brief strategic and systemic therapy, motivational interviewing, and schema-focused therapy. She is member of the Italian Association of Psychology (AIP) and of the Italian Scientific Society for the Study of Eating Disorders and Obesity (SIS-DCA).
