Pascal E. Fortin est professeur adjoint en informatique et en mathématiques à l’Université du Québec à Chicoutimi (Saguenay, Canada) depuis décembre 2022. Avant de joindre l’équipe professorale de l’UQAC, il a occupé un rôle de chercheur postdoctoral au Haptic User Experience Group à l’École de Technologie Supérieure (Montréal, Canada) suite à la finalisation de son doctorat à l’Université McGill (Montréal, Canada) en 2021.

Ses intérêts de recherche portent sur la conception de nouvelles techniques d’interaction multimodales et physiologiques destinées à être utilisées dans des applications mobiles et de réalité mixte.

Pascal E. Fortin is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science and Mathematics at the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi (Saguenay, Canada) since December 2022. Before joining the faculty at UQAC, he was a postdoctoral researcher in the Haptic User Experience Group at École de Technologie Supérieure (Montreal, Canada), following completion of his PhD at McGill University (Montreal, Canada) in 2021.

His research interests focus on the design of novel multimodal and physiological interaction techniques for use in mobile and mixed reality applications.
