« Incidents critiques en milieu de travail » - ICMT
L'objectif de ce laboratoire est de développer et réaliser une programmation de recherche innovante et structurante dans le but de produire et diffuser de nouvelles connaissances en matière de gestion des incidents critiques en milieu de travail et en ce qui a trait aux impacts psychologiques engendrés par des incidents critiques dans un milieu de travail.
La programmation scientifique du laboratoire comporte deux axes :
- La gestion liée aux incidents critiques en milieu de travail (identification des risques d'incident critique dans les milieux de travail, pratique de gestion (prise en charge) lors d'un incident critique et suite à un incident critique, processus de communication lors d'un incident critique et suite à un incident critique, procédure de retour au travail suite à un incident critique et impacts organisationnels de l'incident critique (opérationnel, économique, humain)
- Les impacts psychologiques des incidents critiques en milieu de travail (mesure des impacts psychologiques suite aux incidents critiques, soutien psychologique en milieu de travail, prévention des impacts psychologiques relatifs aux incidents critiques et identification des risques d'incident critique dans les milieux de travail)
Également, le laboratoire souhaite offrir aux différents milieux de travail une expertise venant de chercheurs qualifiés, qui mettront à la disposition des différents acteurs leurs connaissances relatives aux incidents critiques en milieu de travail. Ainsi, les membres réguliers de ce laboratoire sont des professeurs du Département des sciences économiques et administratives de l'UQAC et les membres associés sont des professeurs de disciplines variées (psychologie, gestion, médecine du travail, etc.) provenant de l'UQAC, de l'Université de Sherbrooke et de l'Université Laval. Des étudiants, inscrits au baccalauréat, à la maitrise ou au doctorat sont également impliqués dans les travaux du laboratoire.

Research and Intervention Laboratory on "Critical Incidents in the Workplace" - ICMT
This laboratory's objectives are to develop and establish an innovating and structuring research programming in the aims of producing and diffusing new knowledge on the management of critical incidents in the workplace and with respect to psychological impacts engendered by critical incidents in the workplace.
The scientific programming of this laboratory consists of two parts:
- Management relating to critical incidents in the workplace (identification of critical incident risks in the workplace, managing practice (supervision) at the time of and following a critical incident, communication process during and following a critical incident, back-to-work procedure following a critical incident, and organizational impacts of the critical incident (operational, economical, human.)
- Psychological impacts of critical incidents in the workplace ( measuring of the psychological impacts following critical incidents, psychological support in the workplace, prevention of psychological impacts relating to critical incidents, and identification of critical incident risks in the workplace.)
In addition, the laboratory wishes to offer to different workplaces an expertise from qualified researchers, making available to different actors their knowledge pertaining to critical incidents in the workplace. Thereby, regular members of this laboratory are professors of the Department of Economical and Administrative Sciences of UQAC and the associate members are professors of various disciplines (Psychology, Management, Occupational Medicine, etc.) from UQAC, Sherbrooke University, and Laval University. Students, enrolled at the Bachelor, Master's, or at the PhD are also involved in laboratory research.
