Objectives
The coordination of research activities on icing, high voltage and electrical network engineering, as well as establishing a critical mass of researchers and sharing of expertise and equipment, are among the primary objectives of CENGIVRE. More particularly, its role is to:
- provide additional resources and supports to clustered research units
- facilitate more efficient maintenance and use of equipment
- ensure the sharing of information and expertise between units
- make strategic grouping requests
- create a niche in electrical network engineering
- attract outstanding students and renowned researchers
- train highly qualified personnel
- consolidate the international leadership of UQAC in the field of atmospheric icing and power engineering.
