Mais, cette pratique manque de compr\u00e9hension dans la litt\u00e9rature acad\u00e9mique. En tant que praticienne de matte painting num\u00e9rique, elle a remarqu\u00e9 notamment que les \u00e9l\u00e9ments asiatiques dans la production et la post-production hollywoodiennes sont souvent probl\u00e9matiques. Son \u00e9tude cherche \u00e0 offrir une compr\u00e9hension plus approfondie du matte painting num\u00e9rique. Pour ce faire, elle explore par comment mon exp\u00e9rience professionnelle, sa perspective culturelle et ses approches d&rsquo;interpr\u00e9tation peuvent influencer son processus de matte painting num\u00e9rique. Elle appelles ce processus \u00ab la pratique DMP \u00bb. L&rsquo;enqu\u00eate sur son processus r\u00e9flexif (Sch\u00f6n, 1983) est bas\u00e9e sur la cr\u00e9ation du DMP d&rsquo;une structure Chinoise de palais imp\u00e9rial de la dynastie Qing. Parall\u00e8lement au concept d&rsquo;orientalisme (Said, 1979), elle pr\u00eate attention \u00e0 l&rsquo;utilisation des \u00e9l\u00e9ments visuels et des symboles pour \u00e9viter les st\u00e9r\u00e9otypes. Sous la direction d&rsquo;une m\u00e9thode d&rsquo;autoethnographie, elle d\u00e9crit son processus de cr\u00e9ation de mod\u00e8les 3D et une s\u00e9quence de retouche\/peinture de photos avec des photos existantes de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence d&rsquo;architecture symbolique chinoise. La conclusion principale de la recherche est d\u2019int\u00e9grer la dimension culturelle dans le processus de cr\u00e9ation. Sur la base de ses d\u00e9couvertes, elle r\u00e9fl\u00e9chit \u00e0 la mani\u00e8re dont les praticiens DMP pourraient faire de m\u00eame, afin de disposer de meilleurs outils cognitifs pour comprendre le sens et le but fondamentaux de la repr\u00e9sentation d\u2019objets charg\u00e9s de culture et d\u2019histoire. Pour la formation professionnelle en DMP, cela pourrait susciter une discussion sur les connaissances interdisciplinaires et la prise de conscience culturelle impliqu\u00e9es dans cette pratique
