L\u2019article paru dans le <em>Scientific Reports<\/em>, intitul\u00e9 <em>Allochthonous carbon is a major regulator to bacterial growth and community composition in subarctic freshwaters<\/em>, r\u00e9v\u00e8le des impacts du r\u00e9chauffement climatique sur le cycle global du carbone et la biodiversit\u00e9 aquatique.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">L\u2019\u00e9tude, men\u00e9e par l\u2019\u00e9quipe de recherche du D\u00e9partement des sciences fondamentales, porte sur le r\u00e9chauffement climatique et la fonte du perg\u00e9lisol qui augmente la quantit\u00e9 de carbone terrestre dans les lacs arctiques. Les auteurs montrent que le ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne de \u00ab\u00a0brunification\u00a0\u00bb stimule le m\u00e9tabolisme des bact\u00e9ries menant \u00e0 une augmentation des gaz \u00e0 effet de serre des eaux arctiques vers l\u2019atmosph\u00e8re.
