Suite aux r\u00e9chauffements climatiques en cours, les r\u00e9gions nordiques de l\u2019aire de r\u00e9partition de l\u2019\u00e9rable deviendront des refuges privil\u00e9gi\u00e9s pour cette esp\u00e8ce, mais les connaissances sur l\u2019origine des semences pour la mise en place de nouvelles plantations restent limit\u00e9es. Xiali Guo, \u00e9tudiante au doctorat \u00e0 la Chinese Academy of Sciences de Guangzhou et stagiaire au laboratoire d\u2019\u00e9cologie animale et v\u00e9g\u00e9tale sous la direction de Sergio Rossi, professeur au D\u00e9partement des Sciences fondamentales, s\u2019est pench\u00e9 sur la ph\u00e9nologie de 29 provenances d\u2019\u00e9rable \u00e0 sucre. L\u2019\u00e9tude est r\u00e9alis\u00e9e dans le cadre d\u2019une collaboration avec le Minist\u00e8re des For\u00eats, de la Faune et des Parcs du Qu\u00e9bec, l\u2019Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec en Outaouais, et de monsieur Yvon Gobeil, producteur horticole et propri\u00e9taire de l\u2019entreprise Jardin Gobeil, qui a mis \u00e0 disposition ses terres pour la r\u00e9alisation de la plantation exp\u00e9rimentale. L\u2019\u00e9tude a d\u00e9montr\u00e9 que la r\u00e9activation printani\u00e8re des bourgeons est en lien avec les probabilit\u00e9s d\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nements de gel des sites d\u2019origines de provenances des semis. Une attention particuli\u00e8re doit \u00eatre accord\u00e9e aux risques de gel dans un am\u00e9nagement forestier qui implique l\u2019utilisation d\u2019\u00e9rables \u00e0 sucre et aux choix des provenances dans la s\u00e9lection des ressources semenci\u00e8res pour la plantation.
