Assessment of the Icephobic, Self-cleaning, Thermal, and Electrical Properties for Application to High-voltage Insulator.

Following the interest of the industrial partner in the continuation of the Elham’s PhD project, this project seeks for the research and development of damage-tolerant volumetric superhydrophobic nanocomposites for application to high-voltage insulators. To enhance the tracking and erosion resistance of developed nanocomposites, some modifications should be considered such as addition of alumina trihydrate as the third particle.
