12 pm to 6 pm
A welcoming reception for participants will take place on June 9, from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., in a friendly and festive atmosphere.
This time will allow participants to:
- receive their accreditation badges;
- ask logistical questions;
- engage in initial networking and exchanges.
Booth setup must be completed on June 9, between 12:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., according to the following guidelines:
- Scientific booths: installation in a designated indoor area (single setup).
- Cultural and First Nations booths: a site visit will be possible on June 9; however, as this area is located outdoors under a tent, setup must take place starting June 10. Installation will occur in a tented area, with daily setup and dismantling required.
3 pm to 7 pm – Immersion in the community
As part of the National Building Reconciliation Forum, this activity offers an immersive experience in the Mashteuiatsh community and the culture of the Pekuakamiulnuatsh.
A shuttle will be available from UQAC. Participants may also choose to travel directly by car to the Uashassihtsh Innu Cultural Transmission Site, allowing approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes of travel from Chicoutimi.
This activity includes a light walk. Participants are encouraged to wear appropriate clothing and footwear.

Schedule – June 9, 2026
3:00 p.m.: Departure from UQAC by shuttle, from outside on the Esplanade
4:30 p.m.: Arrival at the Uashassihtsh Innu Cultural Transmission Site, 514 Ouiatchouan Street, Mashteuiatsh
4:30 p.m.: Ceremony on site
5:00 p.m.: Departure to the former residential school and the Musée ilnu de Mashteuiatsh for a self-guided visit and meal.
6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.: End of the activity
7:00 p.m.: Departure for Chicoutimi

The activity is free; however, registration is required to allow us to properly plan for transportation and snacks.
Spaces are limited due to transportation capacity and site constraints.
